Day 3

Biggest success of Day 2's lunch was definately the Angel Delight - it was to die for and I will definately be having that again. I felt full today but not uncomfortable and I didnt pick at anything all morning or afternoon until dinner time. It is definately helping curb my appetite as I am eating fresher things in controlled portion sizes. I figured it out today too - I was spending £6 per day on my lunch thats £35 per week! ($70 give or take) thats just silly money. I've saved £12 so far and I am not picking at sweets and candy! Woohoo - I am loving my goodbyn

For Day 3 I am having:

Leftover rice and sweet and sour chicken from dinner tonight (homemade with tomatoes from our garden too! lots of yummy pineapple also)
Cucumber slices
Pear peeled and sliced
Choc chip Brioche chunked into pieces
a few goldfish crackers
Apple Juice
The top container has a fork and spoon and napkin!

Day 2 - Very sorry looking

So, the lunch I posted yesterday was a success. Although I was so full up I couldnt eat it all - I certainly packed too much, those "little" containers are very deceiving. Everyone at work loved the lunch box too and were all impressed. I had a few comments such as - "ooh I bet it leaks when you swing it around though" - I took great pride in telling them it didnt! :)

Which leads us nicely onto todays post. I've struggled today I really have, I've been working since 8:30am this morning, got in at 6:30pm and was straight out the door to a dance class from 7 until 11:30. I have just packed my box for tomorrow but am so tired its not particuarly awe inspiring stuff - looking at this pic its all one or two colours - beige and pink!!

I also decided I might need to go shopping at the weekend. Tomorrow will be better I have time to cook! :)

Todays box includes:

Spam and Beetroot sandwiches on brown bread
Cheese Cubes
Ribena Juice Drink (using my juice boxes up before I brave the bottle that comes with the box)
A few crisps (or as my American Friends say "Chips") - cheese and onion flavoured
Canned Fruit Cocktail
Angel Delight (which is a powdered mix you add to milk and stir to make a thick pudding) raspberry flavour.
2 mini strawberry biscuits from France (my friend went recently)

I think todays is not only too beige and pink co-ordinated (not on purpose) but not the healthiest!

Day 1 - My first attempt

I really struggled to decide what to include in the box today. For a first attempt however it looks quite inviting! I mixed up the compartments a little bit too!! I'm sure the goodbyn police wont mind.

Included today:

2 types of melon and black grapes
Homemade Lemon Drizzle Cake
Mini Cheese
Handful of goldfish crackers
Fruit Juice, this is a 250ml carton
Napkin
Then I created a mixed salad of bell peppers (all 3 colours), spring onion, freshly cooked beetroot, cucumber, radish and coleslaw. I then added some left over beef from last nights dinner.

I realised after I packed the box that I didnt leave room for my knife and fork! Lesson one learnt! I also think the top middle box looks a little bare. I am going to have to think hard about what I want tomorrow! :)
